UltraVista

　Overview

　　UltraVista Network Management System is a web-based graphical user interface (GUI) for remote configuration and monitoring of network components. Using a web browser, such as Netscape or Internet Explorer, a client terminal can connect to the network management system (NMS). Through SNMP protocol, UltraVista NMS automatically downloads the system performance data and alerts the operator in the event an alarm has occurred. In addition, the network operator can configure “traps” to capture events for real-time, automatic notification of the network operator via email or cellular SMS. Furthermore, the security management feature prevents unauthorized access to the system.
